The project

The brief was sustainable packaging for fast-moving consumer goods. Cheese is one of the worst offenders in the category, sealed in plastic film that has no second life. The range swaps that film for beeswax wraps I made by hand, held in a printed carton that carries the product information. Dairy-free was a deliberate choice: I'm dairy-free myself, and it lets the sustainability argument extend past the packaging to the product inside. The bold two-colour system keeps the range modern and eye-catching on shelf, with amber and green reading for both cheese and sustainability.
